PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system that effectively uses an amount of charge in a storage battery irrespective of the type of the storage battery.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a power system 10 including a storage battery 1, a power conversion section (power conversion circuit 3), a system switching section (switch 4) and a control section (control circuit 5). The power conversion section converts DC power charging the storage battery 1 to AC power of a first AC voltage or a second AC voltage having a lower voltage value than the first AC voltage. The system switching section switches between a commercial power system 7 of the first AC voltage and a standalone power system of the second AC voltage. The control section monitors the commercial power system 7, and controls the voltage of the AC power converted in the power conversion section and the system switching in the system switching section. In the event of an anomaly in the commercial power system 7, the control section switches the voltage of the AC power converted in the power conversion section from the first AC voltage to the second AC voltage and switches the system supplied with power from the storage battery 1 to the standalone power system. |
