PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical spacer capable of suppressing deterioration of movement accuracy of a bearing or a linear motion device, the bearing and the linear motion device including the spherical spacer, and a method for manufacturing the spherical spacer.SOLUTION: A spherical spacer 4 is a spherical spacer made of a resin injection molded body and interposed between balls of a bearing or a linear motion device. The spherical spacer 4 includes a pair of ball contact surfaces 41 having a spherical shape to be in contact with the balls, and an outer peripheral surface 42 connected with the pair of ball contact surfaces 41 and having a cylindrical column shape. On the ball contact surface 41, a recessed part 43 is formed to include an area formed with a weld part 44.
