PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast program selector which selects a broadcast program having popularity suitable for a user by using information which the unspecified number of third persons freely contribute.SOLUTION: A broadcast program selector includes: a site information acquisition section 101 for acquiring a description content from a prescribed Web site; an SNS contribution information server 103 for retrieving contribution information contributed by the unspecified number of third persons on the description content of the Web site; a program prediction engine 105 for predicting a station and a time zone, where a broadcast program on the description content of the Web site are predicted, on the basis of the description content of the Web site and the contribution information; a reaction prediction engine 106 for predicting reaction information contributed in accordance with the broadcast of the broadcast program; an interchange relation database 109 for managing information on an interchanging person of a user; and a program selecting section 107 for selecting a viewing object from the predicted broadcast program on the basis of the reaction information which a contributor similar to the interchanging person of the user contributes.
