PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an air brake safely in a stable manner.SOLUTION: A brake control apparatus 5 controls a solenoid valve of an air brake device 7 of a rolling stock 1 by the use of electric power supplied from an auxiliary power supply 4 for converting a voltage of electric power supplied from a pantograph 2 into a voltage used for electrical equipment in a vehicle of the rolling stock 1. A power supply unit 10 generates electric power exclusively for the control of the solenoid valve on the basis of the electric power supplied from the auxiliary power supply 4. A brake control unit 11 controls the solenoid valve by the use of the electric power generated by the power unit 10. |
