PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module requiring no strength countermeasure assuming external force such as vibration and no insulation countermeasure, while manhours for connection work between the flat type battery cells can be reduced, and the flat type battery cell used in the module.SOLUTION: A positive electrode terminal 23 and a negative electrode terminal 22 extended from both end faces of a battery element 21 respectively are bent toward the mutually different flat surface sides of the battery element 21 to form a laminate type battery cell structure (20-1 to 20-3), and the structure is laid on top of the other in the same direction to make a laminated structure. One polarity terminal of one of the laminate type battery cells adjacent to each other face to face is partially brought into surface contact with a polarity terminal having reverse polarity to one polarity in the other laminate type battery cell. Each laminate type battery cell in the laminated structure is fixed by vertically applying a pressure to the contact surface of the polarity terminal by a pressure contact mechanism. |
