PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device that can search for a route via a drop-in place in the middle of a route to a target destination even without knowledge about the drop-in place in the middle of the route.SOLUTION: A navigation device 10 performs a state evaluation by a state evaluation part 21 when performing a route search; determines whether to make a recommendation about a stopover point or not by a recommendation determination part 22 on the basis of an evaluation result; and makes the recommendation about the stopover point. Therefore, the navigation device 10 can perform the route search via a drop-in place even when an operator has no knowledge about the drop-in place, and does not always make a recommendation about a drop-in place. Thus, an unnecessary recommendation about a drop-in place for an operator can be reduced. |
