PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid excitation dynamo-electric machine in which permanent magnets are magnetized easily without using a magnetization device for exclusive use.SOLUTION: A hybrid excitation dynamo-electric machine 10 includes a rotor 12 having a rotor core 52 provided with a first magnetic pole magnetized with permanent magnets 64, 68 and a second magnetic pole not magnetized with the permanent magnets, a stator 14 generating a revolving magnetic field for rotating the rotor 12, an excitation coil 70 for exciting the second magnetic pole, and a DC excitation circuit capable of supplying a DC current bidirectionally to the excitation coil 70. |
