Provided are a terminal device, a base station device, and an integrated circuit that make it possible for the base station device and the terminal device to determine parameters related to an uplink signal or an uplink reference signal and communicate efficiently. The terminal device transmits a demodulation reference signal that is associated with a physical uplink shared channel to the base station device, and is provided with: a means for determining a sequence group number on the basis of the value of a parameter set by an upper layer; a means for determining the sequence group number on the basis of a physical layer cell identity; and a means for generating a sequence for the demodulation reference signal on the basis of the sequence group number. The sequence group number is determined on the basis of the physical layer cell identity when carrying out transmission using the physical uplink shared channel, said physical uplink shared channel corresponding to a downlink control information format to which a CRC parity bit is added that has been scrambled at a random access processor using temporary C-RNTI.
