A tremor-detecting device, which detects tremors of a user's body, is provided with: a distance-measuring means for measuring a first distance, which is the distance from a stationary object present in a first direction, and a second distance, which is the distance from a stationary object present in a second direction that differs from the first direction; a calculating means for calculating a first tremor quantity, which is the amount of change in the first distance, and a second tremor quantity, which is the amount of change in the second distance; and a removal means for removing the amount of change in the first distance due to the user's respiration from the first tremor quantity and removing the amount of change in the second distance due to respiration from the second tremor quantity. |
