The apparatus i.e. mobile station (110), has a processor coupled with subscriber identity cards and a radio end receiving module, where the mobile station is wirelessly communicated with service networks (120-150). The processor comprises a processor logic unit, which receives a net search process for one of the subscriber identity cards via the receiving module to obtain multiple net search results. Another processor logic unit shares the net search results with the other identity card such that another net search process for the latter identity card is simplified or skipped. The net search process is public land mobile network (PLMN) search process, a service recovery process, a PLMN-list generation process or a PLMN-roaming search process of high priority. The net search results are power measurement results or service measurement results of cells, information relating to the cells, system information, which are broadcast by the cells, information related to PLMN, a location area or a tracking area. An independent claim is also included for a method for sharing network information between subscriber identity cards in a communication apparatus.
