<p>A portable terminal according to one embodiment is equipped with: a touch panel having a pressing detection mechanism that can register a pressing operation on an operation surface; a detection means for detecting a first operation that is an operation in which a contacting object is slid on the operation surface of the touch panel from when the contacting object comes into contact until said contacting object is no longer in contact, and a second operation that is the pressing operation performed via the pressing detection mechanism during the first operation; a storage means for storing an authentication pattern comprising the first operation and the second operation; and an execution control means for controlling whether or not a function of the portable terminal is executed on the basis of a verification result of an input pattern, which comprises the first operation and the second operation detected by the detection means, against the authentication pattern.</p> |
