The vehicle has a vehicle door provided with a vehicle door lock which can be opened by a key. The vehicle door lock is provided with a lock cylinder which is covered by a lining (5). The lining is provided with an aperture (5.1) in the introduction region of the key. A plug element (8) is detachably attached to the aperture of the lining, so as to completely cover the introduction region of the lock cylinder.
