The device has a windscreen wiper (2) associated to a windscreen (1.1) i.e. composite glass pane, of a vehicle (1). A wiper arm (2.1) of the windscreen wiper is provided with a non-adhesive coating in area by area. A heating device is arranged in a lateral region of the windscreen. The non-adhesive coating is formed from PTFE. The heating device includes multiple heating elements (3), and is coupled with an auxiliary heater of the vehicle such that the heating device is automatically activatable during activation of the auxiliary heater.
