The arrangement has a hollow section (1) provided with a cavity (13) and a wall (14). The wall surrounds the cavity and comprises two recesses, and a cable duct (2) guides a cable from one of the recesses to the other recess through the cavity. The duct comprises a mounting unit (21) for mounting in a region of the former recess. The duct is provided with a pipe that extends from the mounting unit into the cavity. The pipe comprises a pipe end that turns away from the mounting unit. The end is arranged before the latter recess or passes through the latter recess in a mounted state of the duct. The hollow section is made of aluminum or plastic. The mounting unit is designed as a mold part, and the pipe is formed in a hollow-cylindrical shape.
