摘要 <p>A power transmission device equipped with a continuously variable transmission having a belt-type transmission mechanism (7), and with an electric motor (4) that recovers the kinetic energy of a vehicle as electrical energy, said power transmission device having: a gear set (5) capable of transmitting power between an input shaft (17) and an output shaft (19) of the continuously variable transmission while bypassing the transmission mechanism (7); and a power connection/disconnection mechanism (11) capable of connecting/disconnecting the transmission of power by the gear set (5). The power connection/disconnection mechanism (11) has a sleeve member (11A), which is supported on the input shaft (17) or the output shaft (19) of the continuously variable transmission so as to be capable of moving in the axial direction, and has an engagement groove on the outer circumferential part, and a ring member (11B), which is rotationally driven by the gear set (5) and has an engagement groove on the inner circumferential part, and during regeneration the respective engagement grooves of the members engage each other and the members are fastened together, thereby enabling more efficient regeneration of electricity.</p>
