Provided are a method and device for sending, receiving and transmitting 3D image data. The method comprises: by resolving 3D image data into a plurality of view data or view group data at a sending end, selectively packaging the plurality of view data or view group data and sending same; and selectively performing view reorganization on the view data at a receiving end, thereby achieving the purpose of quickly transmitting 3D image data in another manner, and automatically selecting the number of transmission views and selectively performing reorganization on view data according to the size of a bandwidth and the quality requirement of a required image, so that the transmission efficiency of 3D images is increased, and the requirements of different devices for different image qualities are met, making the display of 3D images more diverse.
