For the specific colors constituting the colors of a subject image: the pixel values of the specific colors at target pixel positions are extracted from first viewpoint color image data corresponding to a first viewpoint; pixel values for a first color component and a second color component for color image data are extracted from second viewpoint color image data and third viewpoint color image data corresponding to a second viewpoint and a third viewpoint; and the pixel values of specific colors that are to be newly determined for the second viewpoint color image data are calculated in such a manner that the difference between the pixel values of the specific colors to be newly determined for the second viewpoint and the pixel values of the specific colors for the first viewpoint color image data maintains correlation with respect to the sum of the difference between the pixel values of the first color component of the second viewpoint color image data and the pixel values of the first color component of the third viewpoint color image data, and the difference between the pixel values of the second color component of the second viewpoint color image data and the pixel values of the second color component of the third viewpoint color image data.
