<p>This data processing device comprises: a first data processing unit that carries out data processing; a second data processing unit that carries out specific data processing, among the data processing to be handled by the first data processing unit, in place of the first data processing unit; and a memory provided with first and second memory blocks. In a first operation mode, the first data processing unit carries out reading/writing of data accompanying data processing by accessing all the memory blocks as one memory, and stops in a second operation mode. The second data processing unit stops in the first operation mode, and in the second operation mode, sets the first memory block to be read-only, sets the second memory block to be write-only, executes the specific data processing by reading data from the first memory block, and writes the result thereof onto the second memory block.</p> |
