发明名称 SECONDARY ELECTRICAL GENERATION SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORT VEHICLES
摘要
The invention relates to the domain of the Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Resources (NCRER) and the special application related to transport vehicles of different types and categories of utilization. The technical problem addressed focuses on the actual and growing fuel consumption in order to be able to benefit the end users of transportation in terms of better travel comfort in respect to air conditioning and other benefits and facilities of travel which utilize internal electrical energy for the operation thereof. Said invention reduces the consumption of hydrocarbons by using a wind turbine installed externally on the vehicle which harnesses and transforms kinetic wind energy to produce electricity, reducing the environmental pollution and contamination of the environment, wherein the activities of freight and passenger transport are taking place all over the world. The system according to the invention includes, as a mechanical part, the blades mounted on a rotor, a shaft, a dynamic brake and a generator, wherein the whole set is arranged on a metal casing or gondola having an aerodynamic shape and installed on the external upper front part of the vehicle, facing the wind. The electrical part of the system consists of a current rectifier, a voltage regulator, one or several batteries, a current inverter and a distribution panel for direct current (12 and 24 volts) and alternating current (220 volts). The electrical controller is installed in the interior of the transport vehicle on order to operate same and control the electrical supplies. For a better understanding of the invention, the idea of using the wind power comes from the swirl, a toy which we used as children, when the wind blew, but when it did not blow, we ran in the yard to produce the same effect, to create the wind in order to make it spin. The invention described here has the same concept, to exploit the kinetic energy of the wind created by the vehicle when it moves from a point of origin to another point of destination. The invention will contribute to less fuel consumption in the freight and passenger transport vehicle sector, and, as a result, to less environmental contamination by utilizing clean, free and inexhaustible energy and through the easy implementation in countries interested in the application thereof.
