A GRIPPING DEVICE A gripping device 1 adapted in use to permit carrying of an object 50. The device including: a base 2 having a top edge 3, a bottom edge 4 and sides 5,6 extending between said top and bottom edges to define a front face 8 and a rear face 10. A connector member 13 has a pair of arms 14 extending away from said base and a bridging member 15 extending between said arms and spaced away from said base to define an aperture 16. A plurality of gripping formations 20 adapted to extend away from said face and in use grip an object to be carried. The device including an elongate strap 32 adapted in use to extend through said aperture and about said bridging member to deliver said device to be carried by a user. rig1 |
