PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon for IABP balloon catheters, which makes it unnecessary to undo wrapping in preload, which enables the wrapping to be reliably undone by a driving machine, and which prevents the wrapping from being undone during the insertion of the catheter, even in a state of removal of a wrapping sheath.SOLUTION: An outer surface of a balloon for IABP balloon catheters includes a coarse surface in a region equivalent to ≥10% and ≤80% of the whole outer surface and a smooth surface in a region equivalent to ≥20% and ≤90% thereof. This makes it possible to provide the balloon for IABP balloon catheters, which dispenses with performance of preload, which enables the wrapping to be reliably undone by specified balloon pressure generated by a driving machine, and which prevents the wrapping from being undone before and during the insertion of the catheter, even in a state of removal of a wrapping sheath. |
