PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which is inexpensive while safety and product life thereof are secured.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell stack 1; a material gas supply part 2 supplying material gas; a desulfurizer 21 desulfurizing the material gas; a hydrogen generator 3 reforming the material gas to generate hydrogen-containing fuel gas; a material gas supply line 4 communicating the material gas supply part 2 and the desulfurizer 21; a first on-off valve 8 provided on the material gas supply line; a second on-off valve 9 provided between the desulfurizer 21 and the first on-off valve 8, on the material gas supply line 4, and having a pull-up force higher than that of the first on-off valve; a third on-off valve provided in the downstream of the desulfurizer; and a control part 10 controlling the first on-off valve, the second on-off valve and the third on-off valve. When the control part opens the first on-off valve, the second on-off valve and the third on-off valve, the control part controls such that the first on-off valve, the second on-off valve and the third on-off valve are opened, in the order. Accordingly, a fuel cell system which is inexpensive while safety and product life thereof are secured can be achieved. |
