PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that reduces draft resistance to an aerial flow generated by a fan, reduces noise caused by the rotation of the fan, and reduces power consumption in driving of the fan.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a first louver 41 having a plurality of first straightening plates 46 for straightening an aerial flow generated by an air intake fan 50, a second louver 43 that is opposed to the first louver 41 in a manner overlapping with a direction of a rotation shaft X of an air intake fan 50 in the inner side of an apparatus body 1a and has a plurality of second straightening plates 48 for straightening the aerial flow generated by the air intake fan 50. The first straightening plate 46 and the second straightening plate 48 adjacent to each other are provided on the same plane inclined with respect to the direction of the rotation shaft X of the air intake fan 50 by a predetermined angle. A distance D between the first straightening plate 46 and the second straightening plate 48 adjacent to each other is 0.1 to 1 mm. |
