PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission device capable of reducing a load on a CPU.SOLUTION: A data transmission device includes: a processor; a memory control unit for controlling reading and writing of data between storage devices storing data directly, not through the processor; an information storage unit for storing transfer instruction information generated by the processor and including location information on a location at which the data is stored in a storage device from/to which the data is read/written and size information on the data; a generation unit for generating plural pieces of divided transfer instruction information by dividing the transfer instruction information into each piece of information of a predetermined data size; and an instruction unit for instructing the memory control unit to obtain the divided transfer instruction information.
