PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault information collection analysis system capable of efficiently and promptly detecting a fault in a data transmission system and analyzing the cause of the fault.SOLUTION: A fault information collection analysis system for collecting fault information and analyzing the cause of the fault in various data transmission systems, includes: a primary storage memory 18 for storing reception data; a secondary storage memory 14 for compressing the reception data stored in the primary storage memory and storing the data; a data restoration unit 3 for restoring the reception data on the basis of the data stored in the secondary storage memory 14 by control according to the fault occurrence information; and a test control unit 2 for analyzing a fault on the basis of the reception data restored by the data restoration unit 3. The compressed data and compressed data obtained by comparison with expected value data are stored in the secondary storage memory 14, allowing relatively long term data to be stored to facilitate fault analysis.
