PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device having excellent color reproducibility and capable of producing an excellent pixel signal even in the case of low light intensity, and to provide a driving method thereof, and an electronic apparatus using the solid-state imaging device.SOLUTION: In a solid-state imaging device 100 where a photodiode PD having a PN junction and generating signal charges corresponding to the amount of incident light is connected with the amplification gate electrode 13 of an amplification transistor Tr3, the photodiode PD is provided with a current generation part 111 for feeding a bias current forward to the photodiode PD. During a period when a bias current is flowing forward through the photodiode PD, potential of the photodiode PD changed by the signal charges generated in the photodiode PD is output from the amplification transistor Tr3, and the pixel signal is acquired. |
