PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing even a long optical waveguide in a space-saving manner, a manufacturing apparatus enabling the method with simple equipment, and a long optical waveguide manufactured by the method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an optical waveguide includes the steps of: supplying a liquid composition 100 to an outer peripheral surface 910 of a cylindrical drum 91 provided rotatably and drying an obtained liquid coat 101 to form a film 102; irradiating a part of the film 102 formed on the outer peripheral surface 910 with light while rotating the drum 91 to form a refractive index difference in the film 102 to form a core part and a side face clad part; and cutting the film 102 to obtain a belt-like long optical waveguide. |
