PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material capable of achieving excellent discharge operating voltage and initial rate characteristics while maintaining high discharge capacity, and a positive electrode for an electric device and an electric device.SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material contains: a solid solution lithium-containing transition metal oxide A which is represented by Li[NiCoMn[Li]]O(a, b, c and d satisfy relationships of 0.2≤a≤0.7, 0.1≤d≤0.4, a+b+c+d=1.5, 1.1≤a+b+c≤1.35 and 0<b/a<1), has a lamellar structure site changing to a spinel structure through charge/discharge in a potential range of 4.3 V or more and 4.8 V or less, and has a change rate into the spinel structure of 0.25 or more and less than 1.0; and a lithium-containing transition metal oxide B which is represented by LiNiCoMnO(a', b' and c' satisfy a relationship of a'+b'+c'=1.0), and has a lamellar structure site. |
