PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical semiconductor device which has less deterioration and improved light-extraction efficiency, and provide an easy optical semiconductor device manufacturing method.SOLUTION: An optical semiconductor device comprises: a ceramic substrate 2, conductors 3, 4, a protection film 5, a light-emitting element 6 and a fluorescent resin 9. The protection film 5 is a white glass and has improved deterioration resistance and improved light-extraction efficiency. On an under part of the ceramic substrate 2 where the luminescent element 6 is mounted, a thermal via is provided to improve heat radiation properties. Further, in a manufacturing method of the conductors and the protection film, screen printing is used thereby to improve manufacturing ease. |
