PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of a toner attachment state, and improve color stability.SOLUTION: An image processing unit 101 reads a gradation value of input image data, and calculates an input gradation value at which cross-linkage of parallel lines occurs. A selection unit 102 selects a dither pattern according to the input gradation value at which cross-linkage of parallel lines occurs from a dither table storage unit 103. A dither processing unit 104 performs dither processing on image data subjected to color conversion by using the selected dither pattern.
