PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope objective lens unit having a pupil modulation element, the microscope objective lens unit enabling a user to perform different kinds of observations without the need for replacement with another microscope objective lens unit.SOLUTION: A microscope objective lens unit includes a microscope objective lens, plural pupil modulation elements, a switching unit for switching the pupil modulation elements, and a lens barrel for holding the microscope objective lens. The pupil modulation elements are arranged at the rear side focal position of the microscope objective lens, and the switching unit inserts/removes at least one of the plural pupil modulation elements into/from an optical path of the microscope objective lens. |
