摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for an electrical storage element with which handling and manufacturing efficiencies can be improved even if formed of celluloses.SOLUTION: A separator is formed from a porous cellulose film having a micro phase separation structure. The separator has an average thickness of at most 20 μm, an air permeability of at most 100 sec/100 ml, an average pore diameter of 0.01-5 μm, a porosity of 30-80%, and a maximum pore diameter of at most 10 μm. In the porous cellulose film, celluloses may have an average acyl substitution degree of at most 1. The separator may be a separator obtained by a manufacturing method comprising a micro phase separation process for making a cellulose acylate a porous structure by micro phase separation; and a hydrolysis process for deacylating the cellulose acylate made into a porous structure by hydrolysis.
