BACKLIGHT MODULE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

A backlight module and a liquid crystal display. A light guide plate (20) of the backlight module comprises a hollow structure (22). The hollow structure (22) is formed by two thin air layers having a certain included angle, namely, a first hollow layer (221) and a second hollow layer (222). A vertical direction is vertical to a light incident surface (21). A first inclination angle is formed between the first hollow layer (221) and the vertical direction. A second inclination angle is formed between the second hollow layer (222) and the vertical direction. The backlight module and the liquid crystal display avoid a phenomenon of uneven brightness distribution.
