In a method for dispensing a volume flow of successive droplets to produce a three-dimensional product from material which is present in a fluid phase and which can be solidified, the fluid phase of the material is introduced into a material accumulator. A pressure (p) is applied to the fluid phase in order to dispense the material in droplet form from a cyclable outlet opening to construct the three-dimensional product in a construction space. By virtue of the fact that one of the process parameters comprising the pressure (p), a cycle time (tB) or cycle movement (SB) of the outlet opening or the temperature (?) upon a change of the viscosity of the fluid phase of the material is readjusted in a regulated manner, while maintaining the further process parameters, so as to attain a predetermined droplet size, a method is provided for attaining a constant, discontinuous volume flow. |
