PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device that can be downsized while torque transmission intermittent control can be performed by an engagement piece such as sprag.SOLUTION: A clutch device includes: a sprag 7 that is rockably supported at the side of an input shaft 5 between relatively rotatable output ring 3 and input shaft 5, and transmits torque by rocking to a standby position; a return spring 31 that biases the sprag 7 to the standby position; a trigger plate 37 that is coupled to the sprag 7 and makes the sprag 7 rock against biasing by the return spring 31 by relative rotation to an input shaft 5; and a friction sliding member 25 that is engaged and disengaged by a change of a frictional coefficient according to power control while fixed to or sliding with either the trigger plate 37 or the output ring 3. |
