PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for nonaqueous secondary battery having high cycle characteristics and low temperature characteristics (retainability of discharge capacity at low temperature), and to provide a secondary battery.SOLUTION: The electrolyte for nonaqueous secondary battery contains at least one kind selected from a carbonate compound having a halogen atom and a sulfur-containing ring compound, aromatic ketone compound, an organic solvent, and an electrolyte salt. For 100 pts.mass of the organic solvent, the aromatic ketone compound is 0.001-10 pts.mass, at least one kind selected from a carbonate compound having a halogen atom and a sulfur-containing ring compound is 0.001-10 pts.mass, and 50 mass% or more of whole quantity of the organic solvent is composed of a solvent having a melting point of 10°C or lower. |
