PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for high speed driving of an image pickup apparatus.SOLUTION: The image pickup apparatus has a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a photoelectric conversion part and a first transistor. Furthermore, the image pickup apparatus has a second transistor disposed at a rate of one for a plurality of pixels. The first transistor and the second transistor constitute a differential pair. The plurality of pixels are brought into selection state by turning the first transistor on, and brought into non-selection state by turning the first transistor off. In the inventive image pickup apparatus, on/off of the first transistor is controlled by a voltage applied to the control node of the first transistor. |
