PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tiller capable of quickly switching the attitude of a ground leveling body 17 and back-filling a groove trace formed by a chain case 8, with the ground leveling body 17 in the rotary tiller 1 with the ground leveling body 17 mounted in a detachable and attitude changeable manner to the lower end of a rear cover 13 covering the rear of tilling tines 10.SOLUTION: The right and left upper parts of a ground leveling body 17 are provided with engaging parts 22, 23, and the right and left lower ends of a rear cover 13 are provided with first locking parts 18, 19 and second locking parts 20, 21 respectively so as to be laterally spaced. The engaging parts of the ground leveling body 17 are mounted to the first or second locking parts of the rear cover 13. The ground leveling body 17 can thereby be mounted in a standard attitude or in a shallow tilling attitude to the lower end of the rear cover 13. |
