PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground reinforcement material capable of increasing strength of tideland ground by easily increasing strength of a surface layer of a dredged soil layer, in creation of an artificial tideland and the like, and a method for creating the artificial tideland.SOLUTION: A ground reinforcement material 1, which can be buried in soft ground, includes a pile part 12 which is elongated in a longitudinal direction so as to be buried in the ground and inside which an internal space 12a is provided, and a flange part 11 which is configured to be placed on a ground surface and which has an opening 11a of the internal space. The pile part is made of a permeable material. When buried in the ground from the pile part, a sand material getting in from a ground surface-side opening is infilled into the internal space to be capable of exerting a drainage function. |
