PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a terminal device to manage accompanying information of content generated without communicating with a server, in the server.SOLUTION: In a content reproduction system, processing to update an accompanying information DB is executed independently from processing to reproduce (browse) an electronic book (content). Even when the electronic book is browsed offline in a terminal 100, accompanying information such as bookmark information is generated in the terminal 100 and the accompanying information is registered in the accompanying information DB of the terminal 100. The terminal 100 is able to perform backup of the accompanying information of a plurality of pieces of content to a content server 300 offline, regardless of whether or not the electronic book is being browsed. |
