摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a steer-by-wire type steering mechanism which can improve fuel consumption by determining a toe angle so that the fuel consumption becomes the best during accelerated traveling or constant speed traveling without receiving an influence of a road surface condition and the like and can achieve straight traveling stability during decelerated traveling.SOLUTION: A control device of a steer-by-wire type steering mechanism includes: a tire lateral force detection means 41 that detects tire lateral forces acting on right and left wheels; and a toe angle control means 6 that controls each toe angle of the right and left wheels independently so that the detected tire lateral force becomes a target lateral force. The toe angle control means 6 sets the target lateral forces FLt, FRt so that the total sum of the target lateral forces of the right and left wheels is not changed and the total sum of the absolute value is decreased when the speed is not decelerated, and sets the target lateral forces FLt, FRt so that the straight traveling stability is achieved during decelerated traveling.
