Provided is a sealing device that, while suppressing sliding torque to a low level, can exert a sealing functionality even in a state of fluid pressure being low or a state of fluid pressure being nonexistent. The present invention is characterized by being provided with: a resin outer peripheral ring (2000) that is adhered to the lateral wall surface of a low-pressure side (L) in an annular groove (4100), and that slides with respect to the inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole through which a shaft (4000) is threaded in a housing (5000); and an inner peripheral ring (3000) that is made from a rubber elastic body, is adhered to both the inner peripheral surface of the outer peripheral ring (2000) and the groove floor surface of the annular groove (4100), and presses the outer peripheral ring (2000) to the outer peripheral surface side. The present invention is further characterized by the outer peripheral surface of the outer peripheral ring (2000) having a concavity (2220) formed that extends from the end of a high-pressure (H) side to a position that does not reach the end of the low-pressure side, and introduces a fluid from the high-pressure side. |
