An integral curvilinear structure is characterised by a structure formed by undivided, parallel curved tubes that can be coupled and connected by only two metallic plate or rod portions screwed together or folded and with their ends secured. The wholeness of the tubes imparts exceptional shock-resistance, and the reduction in size of the connection devices minimises weight, visual impact and deformation risks. In motorcycles and the like, it comprises fairings to protect the legs, made of fabric and with holes to eliminate aerodynamic drag, with leg protectors made of compact plates and pads with replaceable parts attached by braces. The opening is retained by a cord in the upper part of the structure. The plates for the safety jackets are padded. The supports are merely fitted into the tubes of the motorcycle and of the crash bars. |
