The linear driving apparatus has an electromotor (M) which is provided for enabling translational movement of drive shaft (A). Housing is provided with a crank (K) for slide guide. A coupling element (Z) is mechanically coupled with slide (G). A driving device is provided for driving the output element. The slider and coupling element connecting the drive shaft and output element are connected mechanically so that the translational movement of the drive shaft is enabled with respect to output element. An independent claim is included for stair climbing apparatus.
