PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosing and sealing apparatus or the like capable of suitably acquiring information on an enclosure after sealing in order to make the enclosure correspond to the destination of sealed matter.SOLUTION: In the enclosing and sealing apparatus 1, a medium-for-inspection supply means 12 forms an infrared fluorescent layer 32 on image information 33 by using a spray coater 13, on a medium 22 for inspection on which the image information 33 has been formed of a material absorbing infrared rays, and supplies the medium for inspection to the enclosure 21 conveyed to a sealing means 14. The image information 33 shows the name of the destination to which the enclosure 21 is to be sent. The sealing means 14 seals the enclosure 21 and the medium 22 for inspection with envelope paper 23 transmitting the infrared rays and reflecting or absorbing visible light to form the sealed matter 24. An image information forming means 16 puts a label 25 on which image information 26 showing the name of the destination of the sealed matter 24 has been recorded on the sealed matter 24. Finally, by reading the image information 33 with the infrared rays, also reading the image information 26, and collating them with each other, an inspection means 17 inspects whether the enclosure 21 agrees with the destination. |
