PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sense of perspective in a display image showing a posterior part of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A door mirror camera 2 and a rearview mirror camera 3 capture posterior images (a right posterior image, a left posterior image, and a center posterior image) in the posterior part of its own vehicle A. Subsequently, an image conversion device 9 divides an area including a road surface in captured posterior images into multiple areas (a first area, a second area, and a third area) collaterally arranged from a far side of the vehicle A to a near side of the vehicle A. Then, the image conversion device 9 corrects posterior images to allow images of the areas on the farther side of the vehicle A to be unsharper among the multiple areas. A door mirror monitor 4 and a rearview mirror monitor 5 display corrected posterior images. Consequently, a sense of perspective is obtained in a display image showing the posterior part of a vehicle. |
