PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of cooling water caused due to sudden deceleration or sudden acceleration of the vehicle, without leading to weight increase while preventing a tank portion from being recessed by thermal deformation or aging for continuously maintaining a capacity.SOLUTION: A reserve tank 14 for a vehicle includes: a tank portion 17 having a flat shape with a length in a vehicle front and back direction longer than a width in a vehicle right and left direction for storing cooling water, and a cap portion 18 having an atmosphere open passage for communication of an inside and an outside of the tank portion to be detachably mounted on a water inlet formed in an upper part of the tank portion. The tank portion includes a pair of cylindrical parts for connecting the right side wall and the left side wall extending in the vehicle front and back direction. The pair of the cylindrical parts is provided above a maximum water amount limit line 28 representing the storage maximum water amount in the vehicle upper and lower direction so as to be disposed between the water inlet and the front side wall of the tank portion, and between the water inlet and the back side wall of the tank portion in the vehicle front and back direction, respectively. |
