Provided are: a radical polymerizable composition having a low viscosity appropriate for coating, wherein the hardened product thereof exhibits a high refractive index; a hardened product obtained by hardening the composition; and a plastic lens obtained by hardening the composition. The radical polymerizable composition is characterized by containing the following as essential components: phenyl benzyl acrylate (A), and bis [(meth)acryloyl methyl] biphenyl (B) or a biphenyl compound (C) having a molecular structure in which the biphenyl structure is linked by methylene.
