The method involves combining electrical steel strip (5) and endless carrier tape (6) for producing composite using first roller pair (1). The composite is supplied to second roller pair (2). The second roller pair is provided with punching roller (3) that is provided with cutting tools. The cutting tool is provided to split the carrier tape. A separating device (7) is provided to separate a pressed screen (8) from the carrier tape. The punched out electric sheet (9) of the carrier tape is disconnected and carrier tape is supplied to roller (14). An independent claim is included for an arrangement structure of electrical sheets.
