An ultrasound diagnostic device (100) according to an embodiment comprises an abdominal image generator unit (27a), an ultrasound image generator unit (25), an identification unit (27b), and a display control unit (27c). The abdominal image generator unit (27a) generates an abdominal image which diagrams and represents the abdomen of a mother's body. The ultrasound image generator unit (25) generates an ultrasound image on the basis of reflected wave signals which are received by an ultrasound probe (12) which is placed upon the abdomen of the mother's body. The identification unit (27b) identifies the location of the ultrasound probe (12) upon the abdominal image. The display control unit (27c) displays the ultrasound image superpositioned in the identified location upon the abdominal image following the echo direction of the ultrasound probe (12).
